European mobile device users are more likely to use the internet on their portable devices than their American counterparts. This was revealed in a study by comScore Networks.

The research team discovered that 29% of mobile users in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK regularly use their phones to browse the web. In comparison, just around 19% mobile users in the USA use their small screen device to access the web.

The study also found that men are more likely to access the internet on their mobiles than women. 55% of the surveyed mobile users were men.
