Full Version: PS2 DNAS Hacked

DNAS is the Playstation online cheak to see if games are legal or not.
If its a Backup game then it won't beable to long onto the $ony servers.
DNAS has now been hacked:

"Today, we'd like to inform our visitors that HOPE is again restored...
with the upcoming release of a DNAS Disc ID Utility! Recently leaked
from the GODS @ Paradox, this "homebrew" burnable CDR-based utility
contains NO $ony code, but it will allow endusers to rent original PS2
game discs, dump their DNAS Disc ID (which is unreadable from standard
PC CD/DVD drives), and ultimately patch their back-ups with the Disc ID
obtained from the utility to play them on-line from $ony's servers!

How is this possible? Well for starters, the encrypted overlays have
been decrypted in both the EE and IOP, and eventually a DNAS Disc
ID Patcher will also be required. Its function will be to simply patch the
DNAS routine in a game back-up's IOP to always return the correct key
when connected to $ony's servers wink.gif "

For reasons; the URL has been taken off.
