Warning: High level of funny thinking. If u cannot take it, dont read it.

I was sitting quietly at home pondering the unponderable, somewhere next to how doritos mixed with the definition for atomic mass gives us a constant derivative of culinary perfection, when someone sent me an msn message. This got me thinking about chatting, and what ppl do or say to make me (and should make u) pissed off. Bellow are a number of things numbnutz will do to you when ur trying to have a good time:

1. "I'm on but I dun really wanna talk"

So why did you get on in the first place. This is the typical case of grade A moronic behavior. Programs like MSN and ICQ and AIM and Yahoo and many others, were made for one purpose...chatting. If you do not feel like chatting, dont go online and stay unbusy and then in the middle of a conversation burst out this short line of stupidity.

2. Typing all in CAPS even though you've told em not to before

Okay okay chill mr. "i want all the attention" I do not need to see every single word capitalized, im not blind i can read, unless you are yelling at me? No? Then please either turn that off or shut up. Seriously now, next time I wanna see a retard type something in caps, ill check back with my sister.

3. Spamming stupid comments like "hehehe" all accross the chat screen, especially when more than 2 people are chatting together.

WTF? did you not learn that if you are stupid you should really just keep it to yourself? no one wants to see you spray the same message 50 times, because it just aint funny. Ppl are trying to have a conversation here, get offline and throw your pc away.

4. Posting 300000000 different smileys you downloaded coz you think they are cool

Sometimes smileys are better than words, if you want to demonstrate a point or an emotion quickly (like the middle finger smiley, thats probably the most useful one, and the only one u will ever need) but overall they just suck and they take up space where would otherwise be intelligent conversation. Spare me from torture, write something meaningful and make my day.

5. Typing in really bright colors, usually yellow, making visibility close to nill

See, normally the default background for most people's applications is white. Bright yellow is not going to show up that well, and most likely the user will go into a ceisure trying to read what the heck it is you typed down. I will not change my color scheme for you, so use the universal black or some dark color to make things easier on the eyes you dumb hippie.

-------------

More will be updated soon. Hope you liked it. If it was offensive, well, dont take it personally. Its humor, cant always be appreciated.

I agree with some of them. But there is one that bugs the hell outta me...It's when people type "I see." WTF is that? I know sometimes it's all you can say, which is fine. But then...does the converstaion end? Cuz it's like I just told you a whole buncha stuff and then you tell me, "I see." Then how do I respond to that? Grrr....
Deftone
ic,....
hahahaha j/k

Try better when ppl are just like ... " smile.gif " after your comment...a darn smiley!!! after like 40 lines of heavy duty typing! how inconsiderate.

lol yea I agree... haha

That's really funny, Deftone. I can't stand the "ic" statement either; there's no answer it, yeah haha. Although I didn't really understand the hippie reference... how does selecting yellow as your text color make you a hippie? Oh, is it because a common stereotype for hippies is use of bright colors? I bet that's it haha.

Applause.
Deftone
indeed it is PHP. Im not stereotypical by nature..but i thought it was a nice humorous touch
.::PHPfanatic::.
I'm disappointed this post will count but here goes...
Haha okay.
snocked
I always say "I see" or "That's nice" because often I'm trying to discourage someone to stop talking to me. Some mental giants don't get the message though.
GTX5_Crusader
The one thing I hate the most is people trying to shorten everything they type...

Or talking purely in L33T...

I disagree with you there, bob. I usually sign on MSN because I want to be alerted if I recieve a new email, otherwise, I just tend to ignore MSN which signs me in automatically everytime I connect to the net.

I DISAGREE AGAIN, SOMETIMES THERE ARE SOME ARROGANT ASSES WHO JUST DON'T GET YOUR POINT, THIS IS WHERE I RESORT TO TYPING IN CAPS.

if someone is being funny, you "laugh" so as to compliment them on their humour, sometimes you just don't have anything to say in return so you just say "hehehe" to let them know you're not dead.

I think they are quite useful, don't agree? disable them and quit whining!

I agree with you there smile.gif

now try to see it from the other person's perspective, you've just done 40 pages of heavy duty typing and the recipient is overwhelmed with all the info, they can't answer you quickly and need to time to conjure up a proper response. So, they say "I see" to let you know they are still alive and understand your point.

Deftone, Don't try to immitate Maddox, you keep trying but it's just not your kinda thing... you're not abnoxious and angry enough tongue.gif plus the insults you are allowed on these boards are no where near what you need to use if you want to hit a nerve with somebody.
actz
yap I disagree with most except for the CAP coz that pisses me off and the bright colors but the rest are just normal ways to chat online as for the first one well you can be on msn for a lot of things and sometimes you forget to block everone.

The above is if i'm talking to a friend but if its someone I dont know then yeah very little is tolerated before they are blocked.
Troa34
another "do not" trying to talk to a female while she is trying to carry on one or more other conversations (this is the average female so no one that this doesn't apply to please dont be upset) cause you'll end up waiting 10 minutes between each response... Thats gotta be the most annoying thing for me. Then you ask them if they're busy since its taken them so long and you get a response: "No I'm talking to someone else too." .... How long does it take to type out a sentence or two and switch back? heh. Ill never understand.
actz
hmm... take a hint i would have been gone way before the 10 min wait. Even if they are really just slow and forget who they are talking to I would be gone and someone would be blocked hehehe
Troa34
no its not that they're ignoring or anything like that... I've seen some people try to talk on messengers... its the slowest thing ever...
actz
yeah i know it happens i have no patience when it comes to that hehehe well again thats with people i dont know
Julia's_Phate
I have this horrible habit where i use a million msgs to say something that could have been 2 or 3 (Ex: Hey , How’s it going?, What you doing?, Where you been? , Oh guess what?) Now imagine all that followed by a spew of comments about what I’ve been doing that is coming at you at about 100 wpm. The poor ppl on my icq list.
gofikphoenix
I agree with most of them Deftone. I am getting really annoyed with this group of girls who have the same lol emoticon... but the thing is it really sucks, perhaps its better than them spamming ha ha ha ha all day.
Deftone
just an example.
.::PHPfanatic::.
Sometimes I'm online to see, let's say, if the GN tab is showing up and everything's functioning properly. I'm not as "big" on IM as most other people. The reason for this is it's overrated and whenever I think about the people who are always on the computer (judging from their personality), I know it's not for the same reason as me, no no no, it's to chat with their 100's of so-called friends. At least this is the way it seemed to be in Texas. It just bothers me for some reason. These are popular people though... I don't mind talking to people I can sympathize with (see eye-to-eye)... like the majority of the people here.
Rezza
not quite sure what you mean, I used to be on MSN 24-7 before I kicked my bad habit of wasting time on line and I'm not popular.
Troa34
hehe, php, I have well over 300 buddies most have become obsolete and dont talk to them much anymore, but for me messengers replace the phone, I'm always at least on the same floor as my computer and can usually hear when I get a message much easier than the phone, at least for me.
Deftone
yeah i preffer chatting to talking on the phone with ppl...plus everytime i wanna reach ya PHP i gotta freaking PM ya..and its annoying..typing headings and such...sending..waiting for send

with chat is almost instantaneous.
.::PHPfanatic::.
I dislike the phone more than IM but I'd perfer to avoid both if at all possible. I've probably talked on the phone a total of 50 times up to this point and intend to keep it close to this number. tongue.gif
Deftone
anyway..annoying stuff ;P
