Hello! I am KudarMubat15! I am 13 years old, and I am a boy. Nice site you have here! I intend on staying.
I absolutely love Star Wars and chess. I also love doing graphics and skinning.
The reason I joined is because this looks like a great site! The skin is amazing; I love the colors. I also thought getting the latest news on all sorts of geeky stuff would be good. When I saw that many of the people who were browsing your forums were guests, I felt slightly annoyed that that many people would come here all day without bothering to join... So I thought I would join myself.

The way I found this place is very different then how I found many other sites... I was searching "star wars" "invision power board" on google, because I wanted to find a nice Star Wars forum to join. But then I found your site.

I am probably not as big a geek as many of the people here, but nfor my age I'd say I am a pretty big one. I hope that my internet/computer skills will increase over time.......

It's a real shame that you have signed up when the site is in such a pathetic state. This used to be a really buzzing community, it's just that people have gone for one reason or another..i hope for GN's sake that you start posting.

I'm 14, so it's good to have another young member hanging around. I started going here when i was 11, so age isn't really a problem. You sound more mature than i am now, so you shouldn't have any problems with admins and so forth!

I also like Star Wars, but probably not to a similair extent! For example, i am not a member of any Star Wars fan boards! I used to play chess a lot, it's a great game and i really should start playing more..i wonder if Freeserver still have a chess playing service since they were taken over by Wannado.. i used to play chess against randomos for whole weekends! I would give you a game, but i haven't played in about 2 years!

It is not that it is 'inactive', its just that it is in a state of stasis, a hiccup, a time warp or two. This is a great site with many good folks, young and odd, er old, and a great source of info. on all sorts of things, problems, what-have-you. There is a good core of knowlegable gamers here too.

I stumbled across this site by accident and love a good BBS so it's now on my bookmarks and I've registered. I miss the days of the Dreamcast Technical Pages and love to find a good, ordered discussion forum. I don't know any programming language though I'm trying to learn C++ and HTML but I have a newborn and not much time to spend on a computer.

I was enticed here by the "when willl microsoft collapse?" or whatever it was named, thread and saw a logical discussion rather than a anti-corporate mudslinging contest...impressive, no i just need to find a good PS3 vs XBOX 360 thread and we're happening.

Anyway, I've said enough here so hope i can contribute something to the discussions at the very least.

Edit: By the way I noticed that there is a download section and I am a recording musician. Is there a way for me to uplaod my MP3's to share them?

As for the music, that's a matter for our admin, actz. I personally think it's not really something for a geek site to host music, but who knows. Just in the meanwhile, you're free to put a link to your music in your signature or wherever

As yet there is no spot to host people's music but I do think it is an idea worthy of Actz consideration for peep's origional material, like in some sort of wave format I'd imagine, as, in a very real sense, creating music is all a part of technology now-a-days for the most, that is to say, much music relies on high tech and I think it would be great to have a section for it in the forums. I was thinking that a sub-forum in the chit-chat section or the like but in general you'll find lots of stuff here to keep you occupied as well as generally unbiased and helpful opinions on many computing questions from a great and varied bunch of geeks. Enjoy!

I'm not really great with computers and stuff, but I'm on the internet a lot, can do some stuff in CSS and PHP, and have been trying to learn C for over five years. Not really got very far in it though. Been distracted by other things (such as World of Warcraft, EVE, EQII...)
