i havent been here as long as GTX by one month it seems..id have more posts but I was gone for quite a while.

EDIT: Oh and I believe her nick means ¨little princess" in portuguese...well the word is princess but its using a diminutive at the end

im 5 days younger than GTx...and would have 1000 more posts than him if they hadnt not counted the general posts................

Hey can someone let me know how you get the stars next to your name, what do you do to earn them (if they are earned). How long have the rest of you been here? I've only been here three days but it's interesting. The topics you discuss and questions you ask, some of them I've asked myself but never got answers so I'm hoping the answers will be given here.

Welcome to the forums Dren. You will notice that the stars change according to the number of posts you possess. So as you keep getting more posts you will gain more stars as your rank also goes up from Newbie geek forward. Note however posts made in the general sections will not give you post counts.

Well, i do know that if you want two stars (whoopee) then you need to get 100 posts. The more posts, the more stars. After you get enough posts (i believe that it is 250) you will be able to have your own lil' album section. Hiya out there my name is Serge, I origionally joined here as serges1 but had a foul-up of a brain spasm and have ended up as serges2, its not that I lack imagination its just easier for me to remember who the heck I am. As a bit of a ludite it has taken me a while to get the hang of this; a little over a year ago I couldn't even turn on a pc. I have quite enjoyed reading around on the various topics and the advice I have recieved to several of my questions has been very helpful to my rather steep learning curve, great site I'm glad I found it and pleased ta meetcha.
