Has anyone heard about this player? I was just browsing around like i do on sundays and I decided to check out Creative.com This new player can play video mp3 and it has winxp installed on it. I'm sure i'm late with this but it seems pretty nice as the next gen players will be coming out this year. I'll be finaly buying either a zen or ipod at the end of this month so its interesting to check them out. The only problem with the new vid players is the display just takes up so much space i dont want a brick in my pocket.

I saw it on TechTV's coverage of CES. A pretty nifty device, if you ask me. I think retail will be about $500 or so.

The Zen will have a 20 - 40gb harddrive and will play back mmovie files and be running xp media center edition. I heard you will be able to record shows with a settop box and then transer them with MCE to the Zen and play them on the road. Now THAT is pretty awesome. You'd be wasting your money on the iPaq if you want it solely for media.
well yeah I would say they are for different needs if you want it for media mp3 and video then no doubt the creative zen player will kill HP iPaq but if you just want an organizer like device then iPaq may be better for that.
