okay I just thought it'd be fun to have this...
post 3Dmark01SE results please, it's probably the most common but feel free to post other stuff as well.
3Dmark01SE can be found here http://www.futuremark.com/products/?3dmark2001.shtml
post your specs as well.... if you get something outrageously high, post a screenshot so we can believe it.
I got 6539 for my old AMD Duron System:
AMD Duron 900 MHz
256 PC133 SDRAM
ATi Radeon 9500 modded
ECS M825ULR Motherboard
it's quite high considering the RAM and processor, I will post my new computers results as soon as I finish building it. I'm expecting above 12k

EDIT: I'm expecting more than whatever Troa is expecting

, which in this is case is above 15k , I was just being modest

I wanted to answer to this topic, so I installed 3dMark01SE, but I get an error. It seems it'll only work with DX8.1... Is there a way to make it work with DX9? Because I've tried using 3dMark03 but it always crashes...

I wish I could do some serious OCing

, with my dismal cooling and dud hardware, I couldn't even get my 2500+ upto 2.1GHz

EDIT: inspired by ICE, I decided to set out to do some OCing on my 9500np and get it as high as I possibly can.
After hitting 2.01ghz with my dud 2500+ with much effort, and changing the timings on my single stick of PC3200 256 DDR SDRAM (really need another stick) I managed to get to 310/320... just barely. After another round of 3dmark01SE I managed to get ... DRUMROLL.... 13590 yay! another stick of RAM and I just might hit 15000.

Nice one Rezza, i overclocked my CPU too 2.07GHZ once and some how my MSI K7N2G-L board picked it up as a AMD 3200+, when a 3000+ should be at 2.17GHZ and i guess a barton 3200 should be even higher. According to the spec sheet at MSI's site i shouldn't be able to run a AMD 3200+ on my board hmm o well

.
Im having to fight myself real hard not to buy this new ATI X800 XT on overclockers website.

I've taken my AMD 2400 up to 3200 once. It ran stable for almost 15 seconds... The highest I've had it running for a long time was 2800, but usually within about 10-15 minutes it would crash

. So, I just run at a simple, steady 2600

yeah my friend's got a similar rig to me but with a 9700pro and he gets around the 14,000 mark...gutted! Bought the card when it first came out and can't afford better yet. I do get a pretty good frame rate out of Far Cry though (35-40) on 800-600 with most settings on high so cant complain for now.
Have now managed 8000 (wow! I hear you laugh) by installing newest beta forceware(61.40's) and tweaking bios. Cant help but feel I'm missing some important setting though thats holding it back....or it's just a c*$p card.

what!!? you get 8000 in 3dmark01 and you can run FC at 35 fps? that is wierd, I score almost 14000 and I can't get it at 20fps! damn, It's my ram, it's my ram..* runs down to the store for some more ram*

Well I would post the image but its in the image data base

anyway I got 14249
I got this I didnt OC my video card but my ram and CPU is OCed 2.4Ghz at 2.6Ghz P4.
Edit Ahhh I think I remembered how to post images now *slaps forehead*

Edit Edit: I OCed my video card a little and the only difference it made was I got 14465 so I gained like 226 points is it worth it ?

Ohhh I wasnt complaining about my score just that I couldnt figure out how to post the image hehehehe

I know my score would be much higher but my Mobo is limited to DDR266 so anything faster requires an overclock on my part

im ordering 1GB of DDR400 or 500 soon but depending on what happens I might also just hold out for a few months and just build a whole new system from scratch

Edit: Right now my DDR is running at 145Mhz so its like DDR290 and I have it at 2-2-2 timing heheheh if I had better modules I might try rinning DDR333 speeds

Work like what services are running on XP and general optimizing maybe some of your BIOS settings are not right ? might want to check your memory timmings fast ram with lose timmings is good fast ram with tight timmings is better....

Secondly others with X800's apparently reported scores of 25000 without OCing it. Obviously gofik wants that score or something near it
