Most of you know I like Linkin Park alot, so, no surprise I got their "Splitting the DNA" cd compilation. The first cd was tracks I have already heard (although never released in the US before), but the second CD was an amazing treat. It is 20 songs from Chester's (lead singer, not the rapper) old band, Grey Daze. Simply awesome stuff. Nothing like Linkin Park but great nonetheless. Check out the lyrics at least by following the link below guys. I'm sure even people who don't like LP will like Grey Daze.

I can sympathize with this title, "No Sun Today", and maybe many others but this doesn't mean anything about all others... I can't get into this genre for some reason but I've never listened to rap before so that may be it, I don't know.
I'm all for being as different as possible but some of these "artists" look too weird for my tastes.

look like a good band, I'm gonna have a look at their songs....I listened to the down syndrome, not really my kinda thing but would make a fine addition to my collection... I only have 200 songs.... NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
btw, PHP if you REALLY wanna be different try: *drum roll* the avalanches

I'm already different in my music choice, a very small amount of people listen to classical music.

Grey Daze sounds to me a bit in a way like a Creed type singing and playing but with Chester singing it hehe.. its interseting. I still think I like LP better though

this could be more what I like, personally the two singers thing getts to me, the rap guy drives me insane, if linkin park just had the chester guy singing it would be a lot better.
personally if you are a singer(not playing any anstruments) I expect to be impressed, if you arer a singer and you suck then your purpose has been lost, I respect singing musicians a lot more.
