Ok, I'm trying to use alcohol 120% to burn a .mds file, but it refuses to recognise my dvd-rw drive dry.gif . Little help?
caper
i'm having the same problem. Actually it recognizes my dvd drive and that i've put in a blank dvd. the status changes from 'no disk' to 'blank disk' - but the header remains as 'waiting for disk". and then it just sits and does nothing.

i popped in cd instead and tried it on that drive instead - which it recognized immediately and started burning. it failed however... and now i'm not sure what to do!

i need help too, does anyone have answers?

thx.

I would use IsoBuster to get the files from the CD to burn them, however this will not work for images of software like a PS2 game for instance...

although I think IsoBuster can still convert the MDS file to a regular ISO for you (but im not sure) if you do a search on google im sure you can find something smile.gif

Just do a search like "MDS to ISO converter freeware" smile.gif Good luck !

Edit: You could use Daemon tools to mount the MDS/MDF files then use your 120% the reimage the virtual drive smile.gif
