PALO ALTO, CA (March 16, 2007)…DreamQuest Software, famous for its interactive Championship-series card and board games for PCs and mobile devices, will play an entirely new game when it showcases seven of its games during the week of March 19th at GameDuJour.com. For seven consecutive days, Game du Jour will offer “one incredible deal a day” on many of DreamQuest’s best selling titles.
Since it was first introduced late last year, Game du Jour has showcased one deeply discounted game per day—just one game a day at discounts ranging from 40 – 70%. DreamQuest is offering many of its most popular titles for Windows PCs during its week on Game du Jour at 50% off the regular price.
“Whether you’re a Hearts or Spades aficionado, or Chess, Checkers and Cribbage is more your idea of a good time, there will be a bargain for everyone during our week on Game du Jour,” said Christopher Williamson, president of DreamQuest Software. “Great deals and great fun makes Game du Jour a terrific place for casual game lovers to be.”
DreamQuest has selected to offer these seven games during “DreamQuest Week” on GameDuJour.com:
 Monday, March 19: Championship Hearts Pro
 Tuesday, March 20: Championship Spades Pro
 Wednesday, March 21: Championship Rummy Pro
 Thursday, March 22: Championship Euchre Pro
 Friday, March 23: Championship Chess Pro
 Saturday, March 24: Championship Cribbage Pro
 Sunday, March 25: Championship Checkers Pro

Each game, regularly priced at US$19.99, will be marked down by 50% on their respective days at www.GameDuJour.com — making them available for only $9.99.
DreamQuest’s games have received worldwide accolades for their interactive play-by-play tutorial, endless variations and customizations, and advanced AI players – a series of 24 animated characters with varying skill levels and playful taunts. Games can be played with friends through DreamQuest’s Internet gaming portal, which even allows a player at a desktop PC to play against an opponent playing the game on a wireless smartphone.

Hate ta say it Kevin but you have crossed the line between 'news' and 'spam' imo. As well, there are many, many free versions of the games listed here that are both fun and functional, in-other-words it ain't a big deal, if a deal at all. Game packages (like Globestar's 100XP games for example) are regularly dumped on the market for 10$ or less and I feel that any company trying to flog individual games, especially simple ones like these, for the same ball-park prices is a rip and reflects badly on the company offering them thumbsdownsmiley.gif This is just my opinion of course and it would be nice to see some added debate biggrin.gif

Cheers,

Serge
