I was just browsing MyOpera forums' Lounge cat and found this.
My favorite tongue twister is:
A skunk sat on a stump.
The skunk thunk the stump stunk
and the stump thunk the skunk stunk.
It's very difficult.

.::PHPfanatic::.
Nov 4 2003, 08:07 PM
That's true, my uncle told me about it. It took me quite a few tries to get so I could rattle it off fairly fast.

Nov 4 2003, 08:12 PM

I'm usually absolutely terrible at tongue twisters but for some odd reason I could do that one.

Nov 4 2003, 08:27 PM

It may be possible, if I were to believe in fate. Disregarding belief, maybe you're right.

I said this:
A skunk sat on a stump.
The skunk thunk the sthunk stunk
and the thump thunk the stkunk stunk.
And I said it slow...

I don't know, sometimes I can do it and others not.
What are your favorite tongue twisters, any ideas?

The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick.
That one isn't to hard, but it's one of the few I can accually remember.

This is my favourite:
Many of you have wondered why a computer crashes. It is usually very
technical but maybe this will help. Dr. Seuss Explains Why Computers
Sometimes Crash (Read this to yourself aloud - it's GREAT!)
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is
interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes
your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to
report. If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the
double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is
corrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless
and your system's gonna crash!
If the label on the cable on the table at your house says the network is
connected to the button on your mouse, but your packets want to tunnel
to
another protocol, that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the
hall, and your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss, so
your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse; then you may as well
reboot and go out with a bang, 'cuz sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's
gonna hang!
When the copy of your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk, and the macro
code instructions cause unnecessary risk, then you'll have to flash the
memory and you'll want to RAM your ROM then quickly turn off the
computer
and be sure to tell your Mum!
WELL! That certainly clears things up for ME

That's a tounge twister?
I almost had that memorized (I found it on a site a LONG time ago.)
It's funny though

hehehe, that's what I call trailing off topic.....
I totally forgot it was tounge twisters....
I started talking about Dr. Suess and Fox in Socks
and I remembered this, I don't know what I was thinking, sorry

Don't worry. It happens to all of us. And some of us become notorious for it
.::PHPfanatic::.
Nov 5 2003, 03:35 AM
Yes, it happens to me all the time.
I've seen this before; I think someone posted in on the old Geeknewz.

I don't know why but this part reminds me of "The Jetsons" when the boss's assistant or someone is singing to Mr. Jetson about pushing the red button and boxing and shipping the products. Now, if that's not random I don't know what is...

I think I might've been the one who posted it last time, don't know

There was an old Jetson's part somewhere... I think it was in one of the 1 hour specials they had...

Wow...that was a hard one. First I tried to do it in my head...I messed up...Then I did it out loud...and I messed up...But after four to five tries I started to get it. I can say it but not very fast.
Also...Didn't George Jetson work in a sprocket factory? Whatever the hell a sprocket was...

It was the Jetsons... are we allowed to know what a sprocket was?

They have many different simulations of these at
MyOpera Lounge. I was thinking about posting some of them but this makes it far to easy to increase your post count at an overly-elevated level.
