With so much death and destruction in the world its nice to find a story about something has has beaten the odds by simply being there under our noses and surviving. This is the first new species found in India in over 50 years, it may not be tech news but it definately strums my inner geek

I found a "picture" of the bird right here. It looks more like a drawing to me, but I might be wrong, and it's nice to know what it kinda looks like anyway.
