I wanted to know if may know whats wrong? My emachine was working fine when I went to work came home and no power. Will not do ANYTHING at ALL. But I have another emachine I use for parts and replaced the power supply and it still didn't work I get NOTHING at all. So I tried every suggestion. unplugging things and trying it like the drives and so forth. Switching around the ram, changing the battery, than last night as a last resort I tried the other mother board by plugging the power supply and hard drive into it. Still NOTHING at all. What can possibley be wrong, does anyone have any other suggestions before I give up. I even tried plugging in a new switch for the power and nothing happens at all.

Not familiar with e-machines but when you replaced the PS did you change power cords too? When you push the power on button do you hear the fan(s) running? Check the power cord. Just a stab in the dark here, good luck and wecome to GNz, enjoy your time here! Let us know what happens eh smile.gif And oh, check the wall plug esp. if it on its own circuit, check the breaker, simpler things have stumped people (I plead the 5th on that one), reset the breaker on your power bar etc.
