Tomorrow, tomorrow, ill love yo..... never mind

Anyways, tomorrow I am going to get a nice new shiny 19" LCD monitor from Staples Here but in getting it for $197 (CaD) because its a demo.

At the same time im pondering getting a new mouse. My old one is fine, an old corded, wheeled ps2 mouse, but I happened to come across a bit of extra money from work recently and was thinking of upgrading. Do any of you own/had/have insight on the mice with a trackball, such as This One. Perhaps not this exact make/model but you get the general idea. Good? Bad? Usefull? Useless?

Please post any opionions, good or bad.

Thanks everyone.

Heya Mr. Pink! Greetins and all that there. Logitec has a very nice laser mouse out now for under 80$, you would do well to have a look at one, they are impressive, since I went cordless I have not looked back. smile.gif

Cheers,

Serge

Hey Serge,

Ive used laser mice before (it died on me) and it was pritty good. However I was more leaning towards the trackball mouse vs. conventional sliding mouse. The trackball mice have the small ball (usually marble) built in that you rotate with your thumb or fore finger and that moves the pointer, for those who don't know what I'm talking about.

So you don't actually move the mouse? Cool, new thing ta google tonight lol. smile.gif

I use a Cordless laser Microsoft mouse 2.0 its got that tilt wheel and the wheel works as a third mouse button (I realy only use the two buttons and the wheel) but I have to say I can use my mouse for like 3 weeks on the 2 AA bateries with out a problem it just works (I dont even use any drivers !) hmm maybe thats becouse I use a USB to PS2 converter on the receiver end lol

For the Trackball mich the cord doesent matter as much because the mouse is stationary.

I have a "Micro (brand) Innovations" wireless laser mouse, but I was quite unsatisfied with it, the mouse worked fine, but the batteries lasted less than a month (2 AA) and you had to screw with it for half an hour after you changed them. But I got it on sale for $30 (vs. $60) so maybe thats why? lol.

For now its the old corded wheeled ps2 mouse, but it works, for now, Mua ha ha ha ha......
