Hi, we use Trend PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005 to protect against viruses, spyware, adware, trojans, etc. But, somehow we had been hit with something. 2 days ago while on the internet, PC-Cillin came up with a message that it found ADW_FINDSPY.B, but, can't delete it. Therefore, we logged into Trend's site and followed their directions to manually eliminate the adware. However, we can't locate rdsndin.exe anywhere. We know we had been hit with something because now whenever we google something and tried to link to the site, we get some other site. The only way we can get to the site we want is by typing in the url. We are not sure what kind of virus we have. Please help with the following:
1. Is there any way we can find out what virus(es) had invaded us?
2. Once found, how do we clean them out?
3. In addition, our PC-Cillin virus scan had stopped working. It keeps coming up with the MS dialog that there is a problem and MS has to close the application. This happens even if we use scan tools that runs from the web. I think some virus is preventing the scans from running.
4. Also, we noticed PC-Cillin is popping up with virus (adware, trojans, etc) messages more often. Does this mean once you get hit, they will continue to come after you? Any way to stop this?
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
