Man...CS 1.6 is just frustrating. Many times I see myself and others have their crosshair directly on someone's head...and then miss...completely. Then I see people aiming all over the place and score headshots. The game has gone to the crappers...People are calling it "Random-Strike 1.6"

I feel shields were made for situations for the CTs in maps like italy. It really sucks to try to rescue hostages when a few Ts are awping the three main routes. With a shield CTs can rush instead of wasting time camping around and pissing their pants.

Before shields...People were complaining about awps and how "real men" use scouts...

But regardless...awping is easier than ever before now...The auto sniper is insanely fast, accurate and strong. Shields can be lame. And the ability to aim is no longer necessary for Random Strike 1.6.

One improvement I do like is what they did to the glock.

true italy and militia...........are virtually impossible against good oppostion................. real men may use scouts but if they kant Headshot 1st time they r dead..................... glock is much betta..

shields are completely awful in scrims, cause you cant rush and plant cause you can have 1 ct just sittin there watch you plant and if you start he caps ya, so lame. Auto snipers are too good now, they should have been weakened if made more accurate or just left alone. They need to be peneratrable at least a bit they can take awp and pump shots point blank which is ridiculous especially considering you can awp someone through 10 feet of concrete. The new rendering also really sucks for people with lower end systems, fps is awful and like you guys said the accuracy is totally screwed up. I play on my computer then the one upstairs (the good one) and notice 1000x more accuracy, and then you get people saying it doesn't matter which is the biggest load of crap ever. Good video card/system = less recoil plain and simple. Anyone that says otherwise has a good computer.

Gee...Maybe they will feel the auto sniper isn't strong enough...perhaps put a crosshair on it so you won't even need to zoom. Or...maybe they will feel the need to enlarge everyone's head because Random Strike isn't producing enough headshots already.

Oh wait...The next update will probably do away with the crosshair in general...I mean all we gotta do is point in the general direction and spray anyways.

I love how with the most recent update to steam/cs1.6 they add a shadow under the player's bodies... wow... lets add more graphical crap to an already crappy release, lets make it even harder for the lowend crowd to play and then not give the option to turn it off. Go valve.

Ah yes the shadow...I have yet found it to be useful. It's not like the shadow has helped me find some guy camped around a corner...The shadow is directly underneath everyone no matter where they run to. It hasn't happened to me yet...But I guess the shadow might come in use if someone was jumping over me...and somehow I didn't see him jump but at the same time was looking on the ground...with my gun pointed to the ground...???

speaking of crosshairs..............i was watchin a CS movie and there was a guy runnin round with a crosshair for his AWP.......... was this a recording error.........or is there sum kind of hack to put it on?

people have suggested that it was an earlier version of CS to....... that version would of been so easy to score kills............ must have been a long long time ago though.............

when you record demos it puts a crosshair on the awp and doesn't show them zoom in. Its not a hack more than likely, you just dont see when he zooms. and yes you can play any version of cs actually if you can find the server or you want to start your own, everyone has to be the same version for whatever the server is set at though. I know theres still some beta servers around quite a few 1.4s, lots of 1.5s and 1.6s. Ahh the days of bunnyhopping, I wonder if the Iraqis bunnyhop.
