i am wondering how to erase cookies from my computer. for instance, whenever i go to google and start to type in the search box, you can see everything that i have ever looked up. also wheni visit websites and i have to logon, email address' ect. always come up. i thought that by going to internet options and clicking delete cookies from the temporay internet file folder this would do the trick, however, it isnt working. is there another way to do this?

It isn't a cookie problem. Its the auto-complete within IE. You need to open Internet Options, select the Content tab, click on auto-complete, then unselect the items you don't want IE to remember.

also doing a periodic TOOLS -> INTERNET OPTIONS -> CLEAR HISTORY (button two-thirds of the way down) will clear off the giant list of websites you've visited when you click the address bar where you actually type in websites.

Under Internet Properties (General Tab) you can erase all the Temporary Internet Files and Cookies

Your problem is clearly solutioned above, but to clear the cookies:

Go to START> RUN (or use the keyboard shortcut Windows + R), and in the 'Run' box, type 'cookies' (without quotations). This will lead you to the folder with all of your cookies.

ALSO: In your browser options, there is a 'Delete Cookies' button.
