I attached a new dvd writer to a system which has a cd rom now in win98, in my computer it is not showing he dvd writer but it is able to write through nero. I able to access the drive through run drive letter: but is not shown in my computer

This is a bit of a shot in the dark but download a program called TWEAKUI and once installed check to see if the letter of the drive that is invisible is ticked as it may be hidden to windows.
