Concerning the "UNOFFICIAL Windows98 Second Edition Service Pack 2.0.2 " I installed this over my Win 98 SE. Up to now I have not been able to share folders over the network because the word 'Sharing' does not come up in the context menu, whatever shares were there before still exists but new ones I don't seem able to make. Other than that after a week of use the new 'Unofficial service packe 2 for 98SE" has improved my computer use by having fewer stalled shutdowns, explorer crashes and a fast excellent notepad substitute.
Other than mentioned above (networking) I have found no weaknesses in it and I would like to continue using it.

My questions are:

Is the lack of sharing a general fault in the service pack or is it particular too me?
If it is fixable how should it be fixed?

Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

Thank you Geek God I:

Not a monotheist are you?
Your suggestion provided the right direction so I did two things:
1. Went into "network neighbourhood" then "properties" and
removed all sharing print and files alike. Restarted windows.
2. Went to the above location and included sharing of files only(because my computer as no printer attatched.) Restarted windows.

For both the above you need the 'original' Win98 install disk. Specifically it looks for SP2.CAB.

It now works fine and sharing shows up in the context menu.

Thank you agiain
