How the heck do you install the nVidia drivers on mepis? I did exactly what they told me to and it says something about my kernel heading and that i have to have the kernel source installed. How do i do this??? I have kernel 2.6.7 by the way.

I don't know what type of package management Mepis uses, but anyway, all you need to do is to install the packages kernel-headers-2.6.7, kernel-source-2.6.7 from the CD or download it from the internet. Note - you should use the same version (2.6.7 here) even if newer ones are available.

I installed both of those packages using kpackage and tried to install the drivers again, but It gives me this error:
-> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you li
ke the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel f
rom the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)? (Answer: Yes)
-> No matching precompiled kernel interface was found on the NVIDIA ftp site;
this means that the installer will need to compile a kernel interface for
your kernel.
ERROR: The kernel header file '/lib/modules/2.6.7/build/include/linux/kernel.h'
does not exist. The most likely reason for this is that the kernel
source path '/lib/modules/2.6.7/build' is incorrect. Please make sure
you have installed the kernel source files for your kernel; on Red Hat
Linux systems, for example, be sure you have the 'kernel-source' rpm
installed. If you know the correct kernel source files are installed,
you may specify the kernel source path with the '--kernel-source-path'
commandline option.
ERROR: Installation has failed. Please see the file
'/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions
on fixing installation problems in the README available on the Linux
driver download page at www.nvidia.com.
Its the same error i got before i installed the packages. Do i have to do anything special after i install the packages?

hmm, your kernel source path will most probably be /usr/src/linux or /usr/src/linux-2.6.7 , Verify that either directory exists (most probably both will, as the first will probably be just a link to the second), and then as mentioned, compile with the option --kernel-source-path=/usr/src/linux
