Lord of the rings premiered today in NZ

I'm so excited, prepare yourself for spoilers I will be posting as soon as I see it

i can see how that could happen considering hardly most of the actors arent american, it wasn't filmed in us it just got the money hehe same thing happened with the james bond movies i think in London.

it was directed by New Zealander... tha's enough reason I'd say

none of it is american hehe other then a couple of actors I think they should premier it in NZ

I tried the official site already, but it just says it'll be out on the 17th. Is there another foreign (to the US) official site??

the world premiere party finished yesterday, they blocked half the roads in the capital city for it... I think 150,000 people turned up

I haven't seen it yet, I'll probably see it on the 16th or 17th as well, there is no way I'll get a ticket for the first or second day,

p.s. it hasn't been released to general public yet, even general NZ public.

150000? that have to be the biggest thing in NZ history?

yea, it's a lot for anywhere but espicially large for new zealand. I've been to events with 200,000+ people though
