I dunno...I've never been able to get to like that anime...I tried...I wouldn't say it's bad though...Just not my "cup of tea" i guess. laugh.gif

I saw on TV recently that the anime "One Piece" is coming out in North America and it is supposedly a very good series. A few months back I was choosing between One Piece and Naruto...Cuz I didn't think I would have time to watch two animes that had 100+ episodes...I chose Naruto...In no way do I regret it. Naruto is AWESOME. But I am curious as to what One Piece is like...So I can't wait.
Fixedamage
thumbsdownsmiley.gif I despise Anime.
psYchotic
lol, you're not the only one. Some people like anime, some don't. I'm a person that does like anime, and just like Kenut, I love Naruto. But I'm watching lots of different series in between (see my january desktop to see everything I watched/am watching). I wish they would air shows like Naruto on TV here, but I'm afraid that's not gonna happen for a couple of years. Just like Dragon Ball Z, they'll probably wait till they know for sure there's some money to be earned...
If you want to know what shows I've been enjoying, here are a few : Cowboy Bebop, Chobits, Full Metal Alchemist (one of the best), Full Metal Panic!, Chrno Crusade, Trigun and others. I never got around to watch Inuyasha, mainly because I don't have much space left on my harddisk tongue.gif

I don't believe "channel 22" applies to everyone in the world. I don't think the 8:30 applies to everyone either. laugh.gif But glad you have lots of enthusiasm!
GTX5_Crusader
You could be a salesman... or... saleswoman... or just salesperson with that enthusiasm.

But how many people though who say they are hardcore fans of an anime just because they know when it's on? smile.gif tongue.gif

I just download them and watch them at my own lesiure. It's easier that way smile.gif
the9tailedfoxdemon

I like Inuyasha but right now im totaly wrapped up in Ghost in the Shell Stand alone Complex. Its pretty cool smile.gif
serges2
What is that M$? Just curious, haven't heard of it. smile.gif
psYchotic
It's a series about robots (aka puppets) and humans, at least, that's what the movies were about. I was thinking about getting the GitS series as well, so I'm off to get it right now smile.gif Darn, I'm already getting Vandread... Oh well, it'll take a few days then.
serges2
So, can you rent these on video or are they a down-load type thing? We are rather limited as to our TV stuff (unless you have satellite) sad.gif
I use to be a big cartoon fan but mostly the (really) old stuff like Betty Boop and the Fliesher (sp) ones (pure genius a lot of it) and still have several hundred 1st eds 70's comic book (the kids college fund, ya right lol) stashed on acid free boards. I got turned off the newer cartoon thingies, I think the 'big doggy eye' character thing turns me off, dunno. biggrin.gif

Boring imo, can new members STOP TYPING TOPIC NAMES IN CAPITALS. Kthx.
GTX5_Crusader
Have you seen the date of the first post? I don't even think that member is around anymore...

I've still been keeping up with some anime, with a new one I started watching called "Wolf's Rain"... it's interesting... I think the storyline is a little weak, but overall not bad.
GFTX
wolfs rain is very is very worth to watch, but i don not like the end----the old JP WAY

i don not like the end

I don't like any anime ending. I guess that's because you've been watching several hours worth of anime, and you end up with nothing. Sometimes, I wish some series would go on forever, a bit like "The young and the restless" (where's the puke emoticon?)

@Serges2 : Of course you can download those somewhere, but that would be illegal tongue.gif Besides, GitS:SAC (Ghost in the Shell : Stand Alone Complex) consists of 26 episodes (according to AniDB), which would be approximately 3.6GB... So I looked for a place where you could buy the DVD's at. Amazon.com has all 6 "volumes" on DVD.
GFTX
well, all my disk is below100M,it just full of carton, hehe
