I have got a problem with graphics and pictures in IE6. Every time my browser refreshes, the graphis are very low quailiy, low res. I have to rt-click and either "refresh page with full quality" or "refresh picture with full quality" to restore the graphics or pictures to a state where you can tell what they are. I had this a few years ago and was able to get rid of it, but this time I have not found anything to change the setting or whatever. Aidawg

Does this happen to all images including small images or just large ones coz it could just be the auto resizing. I havent really heard of this before but if nobody come up with an answer i suggest you give firefox a shot.

This is happening to all images, and happens whenever you change pages in IE6. Sometimes, if I have refreshed a particular page or picture, it will show that page or picture in high quality when I go back to that site.

A lot of ISP's use image compression then try to fool you into believing they are "High Speed" AOL does this as do others.
Opera will soon be using the same "Trick" to try to fool people by claiming its faster, IMO its nothing more than a scam.
USe a Browser and ISP that does NOT use this form of compression.

Firefox has an option to rezise Large pics to fit the screen, something like that will affect the quality of the graphics.
Now, if its happening with all pics then its prolly your ISP compressing them to make it feel like you are surfing faster.

Yeah, some ISPs do all sorts of things to make their service seem better than others. You'd be surprised... lol
