Oops!
Sorry I wasn't aware that it's been posted. I heard it on the radio today so I thought this was some new thing.
As for what the "big deal" is...I didn't see any but I just thought it was funny. You don't normally see presidents or any world leaders do this.

no, when i said "i don't really see what the big deal is about it" i meant i don't know why marant just started, like, having convolutions about it.

It's just because it's close to the elections. He swore, so what you think? No, it'll make people vote for Kerry, or at least that's the plan. Strange world isn't it.

i really don't see how that would affect votes. if you really like bush and see that, you're not really going to care. it's not like someone is going to say "OMG! i can't believe the pure insanity of what he just did! that is just totally unacceptable and insulting and perverted! *gurr* now i'm going to vote for Kerry just to teach that mean ol' Mr. Bush not to act like a some-what normal (and i use that word loosely) human being!". i really don't care, but that's just moi.

Some people are really strong against swearing etc, so they would maybe vote against him for that incident. It also makes his image slightly badder, and unlikable (if it can get anymore).

Hmmmm. Freaked out? Convolutions? (you meant convultions, right?) Not exactly. Actually, I agree with you, this video is nothing to be concerned about, it will disturb only the most prudish, and it will amuse (impress?) the other extreme. Win a few, lose a few. I was addressing the poster of the video, whose intentions were obvious, but lacked conviction by wimping out as to why it was posted. If you want to attack the President, go with something of substance and stand by it until you get slapped down or are proven right.
I would just rather not see it on this website. This whole election process has been the worst I have seen in 25 years of voting. I come to GeekNewz to get away from the BS. The tech stuff is over my head, but it helps clear the mind and reminds me that some intelligence still exist in this world. Political post, even as geek humor? save the bandwidth.

Yeah, we're only on the
internet...
And the chances of that videoclip being posted on
these boards changing anyone's vote are very unlikely..
And even if anyone decides to change their vote due to that, well who cares? It's better than everyone trying to hide and cover something up..

I agree that we're here to chat about techy stuff and not presidential elections. Although marant i don't think you should be so harsh. I'm not saying that because you're a 'Newbie Geek' it's just that you can't go flashing your mouth like that all the time. I come to GeekNewz to have a break from people shouting and screaming at or around me, so i don't really enjoy having the same 'pleasures' here.

Oi...Has anyone noticed I posted this under the humor section? WTF is the humor??? Everyone has an opinion, no one here is going to change their opinion because of what someone posts on the the GN boards.
We've used these boards to debate many subjects both techy and non-techy. But if you guys are going to debate at least do it OUTSIDE the humor section. Close this topic, please! All this talk has taken the fun outta the original post I made here.

I hear you. I was thinking the same thing. People look too much into the political side rather than the humor, and after awhile that kills the humor
