I don't know all the programming languages out there, these are just ones off the top of my head. Some are new (PHP), and some are old (Cobol).
xfsunolesphp
i love PHP......
anakinsolois
Id have to say VB.NET
mutinymonger
I'm stuck inbetween VB.NET and PHP...

i dont program,i will take c++ next year so ill put that one down

I'm taking C++ this year, starting in about 3 weeks, I'll let you know how it goes. Apparently its close to JAVA, so I shouldnt' have a problem. I looked at the source for Linux, and that was all C++. Tad bit overwhelming, an OS source code. The syntax is almost identical.

im doing a bit of Java now but i like C++ better.
mutinymonger
I am taking C++ this semester, took Java last.
Deftone
i think C++ servers a higher purpose but thats also coz its been around quite a bit longer than java does. Although it does seem to me that c++ seems easier after doign java first.

C++ is the way to go.

that number is 3 in binary.
and 17 in Hex

I don't vote here, because so far, my favourite programming language would be python smile.gif I don't know why, I just do

i said 3 in binary and 17 in hex.
psYchotic
what he means is that 11hex is 17dec wink.gif
Sir Nacnud
I voted for c++ and I like it better than java.
§abmudaru
looks like i should learn C++....

SuranWrap: 3 in hex is 3, not 17. 11 in hex is 17 and if that is what you are trying to convey then you are right, but i do not know where the number 11 came from.
psYchotic
rofl, it's hard to understand with all those different counting systems. 11 is the binary value for 3 in decimal, 11 hexadecimal is 17 decimal wink.gif I hope it's clear now tongue.gif

And I think I'll get back to that huge book I bought a year ago about C++, because it seems to be greater than I thought. But I guess you guys are talking about visual c++, because you can't make visual applications using purely c++, can you?
mutinymonger
I'll tell you about your visual c question after this semester is over, when I have a semester of C++ under my belt.
GameSkillPhil
C++ is the all powerful language
xfsunolesphp
