Does anyone know if any retailers are going to offer any special items if you preorder the classic Star Wars Trilogy on DVD?
I thought they werent releasing the old star wars on DVD.
But i could be wrong, thats just what i heard.

September 21 2004, original come out on DVD, fullscreen and widescreen. They have bonus footage of a new star wars game on them.
Star Wars Battlefront to be precise. Actually i thought it was a playable demo
I'll take your word over mine, I really have no idea what the game is supposed to be. If it's playable that awesome. I wonder how much the DVD set will go for... I'm thinking about $100 CND. In comparison to other DVD sets, this is pretty reasonable. I remember seeing the Jack Ryan Collection (Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Sum of All Fears) for about $70 last christmas. I bet ebay will have a major increase in usage on the 21st of september...

Umm.. I actually don;t know off hand... I know the U.S. is worth more, I think the CND is worth about 67-69 cents. That's what it was the last time I checked, but that was probably a year ago. I don't really watch TV or read the newspaper, so I have no idea. I'll try and figure it out some time today, or it will just gnaw at my skull...

Ya, agreed. $70 is the price of a new game, so I would pay $70 for the trilogy.

they would be fools not to release this on dvd, lucas films would profit considerably from this

Canadian dollars have been doing considerably better since a year ago.1 Canadian dollar is worth approximately 0.77 USD.
1 USD is worth approximately 1.30 Canadian dollar.
