I took this screenie a few hours ago:
http://www.geeknewz.com/imagedb/displayima...stup&cat=&pos=0I find it really stupid how adverts have messed up the look of hotmail homepage and that no-one has noticed yet. Maybe its only me..being bored, but i thought i might as well start a topic.

It looks like a CSS error, maybe they were doing some updating to the code?

Well, I haven't noticed yet because it's never happened to me. I was on it a few hours ago when I got home from work and it looked fine.

Ummm.... it's still perfectly fine for me... you using something other than IE? That's probably the problem... yeah... all those non-IE users...

j/k
No, really though. It's loading fine for me. It could just be a script error on your end.

Im using Avant which is oviously based upon IE so i don't see to much of a problemo with it. I may download firefox but then again it doesn't really matter to much. I'll try it on my other machine (the supreme one

) later once i've drilled some holes and got some wire. (dont ask)

Like i said they were probably just testing something out and you stumbled across it. Or it was some weird CSS error

I don't see why they wanted to test out sticking a vertical ad on top of the login box. Also don't people test things for websites offline?

Sometimes that's a weird way HTML works. You have to publish the page to see if it actually works, especially if you have outside addresses from outside of your network in the page.
