Whats everyones favorite car? I don't just mean 78 buick or something like that. Make model year and any mods. But please don't say this make that model and all the mods. Be specific people.
Mine would have to be either a 68 Pontiac GTO with a 440 magnum engine in it with free flowing exhaust, headers, leather interior, nitrous wet shot, and a plexi-glass floor so when it lifts up on its back wheels i can see if anyone is dumb enough to be underneath.
Or a stock 62 chevy corvette stingray.

1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Twinturbo. Obviously it's a twinturbo staight-4 engine, pushing about 375HP right off the line. Enough power and an all-wheel-drive system will allow this car to just 0-60 in just under 2 seconds.
For body, dark metallic hunter green, blue and red flame design coming from the front fenders. Low profile chrome wheels, and not those moving ones that keep moving when you stop either. A small, yet useful, black (or chorme) spoiler on the back. Thats about it. I'll spend more money on effects than I will anything.
But, if I upgrade the engine with a Stage-4 Turbo system, along with intercooler, engine re-calibration, engine polishing, new power compuert system, wet-shot nitrous system and take away the limiter, the car will easly push 800+ HP

I may be able to find a car that looks almost like the one I want... not sure though...
For an older car... stock '74 Cuda. Now THAT's a car.

that stock stingray sounds nice, but i'd have to go with either one of the 5 or so delorians with 14k-gold-plate over brushed stainless steel; that would be my pimping car. my public relations car for the pimping business would be a
tommy kaira skyline gt-r r34 just noticed this guy ->

68/69 Charger with a 426 Hemi
"Ya...Its got a Hemi"
And BTW ... There is no car that has broken the 2sec 0-60 mark as posted above.
The fastest production, street legal super car to have been tested is the Dauer 962 Le Mans, with a time of 2.6 secs and a top speed of 404kph (just under 250 mph) The time it posted was also accomplished with street tires not slicks. This a production, street legal car that you can conceivably purchase, if you have $800,000+ in change. Being a production car simply means it came out of testing and prototype stage to be produced as road going vehicle to be sold, regaurdless of the number of vehicles produced...making the 962 a production vehicle. Vehicles such as the Hennessey Venom 800TT that claim to do 0-60 in 2.4 seconds are modified cars built by tuners with aftermarket parts, it would be no different than taking a honda putting enough nitrous and aftermarket parts in it to bosst the horse power to around 1000 and achieving sub 3 0-60 times, although it is based off a production car..realistically all that remains the same in these cars is the body design and the chasis. In essence these carse dragsters not street-legal road going cars. It all depends on what type of category of cars you are talking about. However strictly by the numbers the 962 beats the Mclaren F1 lm, Enzo, and claimed speed by Veyron (which has yet to be officially tested)

I couldn't find any specs on the suped up 3000GT I want, but I did find a production and street legal can that breaks 2.0 seconds for 0-60
http://www.fast-autos.net/lingenfelter/lin...elter427tt.htmlAnd another street-legal car, but modded for drag racing:
http://www.fast-autos.net/ford/fordbossmustang.htmlBoth cars are faster than 2.0 seconds for 0-60MPH
Since I can't find any valid sources to hold my claim of the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Twinturbo doing 0-60 in under 2 seconds, I won't argue it... until I find the source again.

Anyway, what do you think of getting back on topic here

We're not here to argue about how fast a car is or isn't, are we?
My favorite car... Well I kinda like the ferrari 360 modena
Specs here I don't really care about specs yet, so design is the main reason why I love that car.

How come no one mentioned the
2005 Ford GT Supercharged V8
550 Horses
500 foot pounds of torque
0-60 in 3.3 seconds
6 speed
the only car I have ever heard of that can go 0-60 in first gear
only 40 inches tall
watch the video, on the link above, of the Ford GT putting some rubber down!!
I think the Ford GT is aswome and would love to own it, but unforutanetly if I ever got enough money for one, there wouldn't be any for me to buy! Red with white racing stripes is the best color.
