when i startup my pc I have this habit of checking my free physical memory. I thought it would be interesting to see how my free physical memory compares with others at startup, What is your free physical memory at startup?
I have a 512 mb stick and my free physical memory at startup is about 315 mb. =)

Well its been a few days since I rebooted (I think 2 days hmmm maybe 1 im not sure lol) anyway I have 319 Megs free on a 512 Meg system. I have some services disabled so thats probably why I have a little more free memory. I also had IE open when I got that heheheh
Edit: with IE closed I have 321 Megs free....

Out of 256MB on this school computer, there is 46MB free (I just started up).
I'll see what my home computer is when I get home...

I have a 20 MB free out of 384 MB.

Azureus really occupies system resources, it takes sometimes 100 MB when downloading large files!

That's surprising since most schools strip the computers of 95 % of the Windows features/options.

382! bow down to my stripped windows powers, and that's not all, I usually close down a lot of stuff as soon as I log in, so I end up with more than 400mbs free most of the times.

Apple takes 8GB, although most programs won't recognise more than 4GB, it DOES take it. *stupid show off apple*

lol my Mobo will go up to 3GB but I only have 1GB installed and one free slot.... I have a bunch of stuff running right now and have about 640MB's free physical ram. My Page file is 236MB's weird I would have thought my page file usage would be higher
