Well now that NHL is over, I thought it would be appropriate to start an NBA one. I follow hockey more but I do follow NBA a bit as well.

I want the Lakers to win just so over the hill players like Malone and Payton will go away. In addition I do want to see a picture of Phil Jackson with TEN championship rings, one on each of his fingers.

I don't follow NBA much, but I vote Lakers.

I gotta vote for the home team GO DETROIT! So tired of the whole western biased that there's no competition in the east. The pistons came out and spanked em by 12 points in game 1 at the Staples Center (Laker's court). Got your attention now suckas!?!? GO STONES! Besides the only way the Lakers are gonna win is if they feed the ball to Shaq every posession and any idiot coach can tell his team to do that, Phil has too much pride to ride one player. But when the Piston's defense is shutting everyone down completely what else ya gonna do. Silly pride, its gonna be your downfall.

Pistons win 4-1, and the one lakers win was the result of a phantom foul and a miracle shot to send it to overtime. Pistons thorougly spanked the Lakers. GO DETROIT!!
