This is the most beautiful system I've ever seen. I saw it a few months ago at HDC and bookmarked it but then accidentally deleted it from my bookmarks, and HDC went down. I just found it again, though.

I havent heard anyone being able to buy one yet... in fact in Maximum PC they even are asking anyone who has been able to buy one to Email them... Some of the stuff they advertise as being in there system isnt made by anyone yet....

How is that? It has the buy option there, plus it seems like all the hardware there is commercially available.

urm... I don't know about 3.8, but I know some of their models were reviewed by some magazines, they only received 4/5 due to really messy cable work.

It's real though, it was rumoured to be a hoax but it isn't.

Wow, it's 14,000 for just the three-paneled monitors. 18,000 if you get 4-panels.

The nicest laptop they have available is also ridiculously beautiful. Check out the specs for it, they're awesome.

THey have a lot of contests, and offer the PC's free for sale. I used my junk mail ID ti check if they were spammers. No spam, but no confirmation mail, nothing.

I found something "bad" with the system, and I'll say, it's really disappointed me. They only allow for 512kb of L2 cache... You can easily get 1MB L2 cache these days with processor chips, and it's even becoming commonplace. I'll e-mail them and see if they decide to respond.

yea, it looks so cool it's been used as a fake. The makers must feel reall proud.

Well i do, but i don't really like it that much. I prefer an Alienware ALX to that because i could buy like 3 of them for the same price as a MachL 3.8.

You'd prefer an Alienware over this... Have you read the specs on the Mach 3.8? Excepting the pathetic 512k of L2 Cache, everything is state-of-the-art from the harddrive to the water cooling system. Alienware has great stuff but it doesn't compare with this except in price, and frankly, price is not an issue if you're rich enough to go pro.

I e-mailed the site about adding an option on the "customize" page to upgrade the L2 cache to 1MB at least, since they show the "512k L2 Cache" on there but with no upgrade option. Doubt they'll respond or comply...

Eh yea, Alienware doesn't have a 3.8 Ghz processor either, along with most of the other stuff.. and as Za said, if you're rich enough to go pro, price isn't an issue.

Eh guys, reading my Maximum PC magazine and apparently, they have been looking since January, and cannot find anyone who has bought this PC, and they can't get one themselves.

hey does anyone actually know how much one of those mach 3.8 abaies costs, not that i'd be able to afford one but have you seen the features on it, visit the website and you'll know what i'm on about ladies and gents

There is no confirmation that that PC even exists, I don't thihk it does, no one (even Magazine editors) have been able to contact the company.

I did read the specs on those laptops and in all honesty nothing i've seen comes close, yeah alienware is cool but really these babies, mach 3.8 included, outweigh it by far. take my word for it or read up on it yourself you won't be dissapointed
