I like songs that I can listen to for entertainment... then there's songs I like to listen to for relaxation. Both could be the same for me. (For example, 3 Doors Down is good for both )

If the song's got a really good meaning to it (like, 3DD When I'm Gone, Metallica Unforgiven), good chance I'll like it

I really dislike reggae! I HAD to listen for far too long. In my art classes in high school (and I dislike art class as it is) the people always insisted on putting reggae in the cd player. And just as I thought it couldn't get worse, they started to sing along to it too. But I survived and the people here listen to far better music!

When people first told me what reggae is, the first thing they told me is that it's the music from Jamaica. These days I suppose it's not strictly from Jamaica, but it is still referred to as "island music," if that helps.

hey i like eminem and i own all his albums so bring it on... i dont listen to most commercial rap except for eminem, nas, jay z thats about it the rest is underground stuff that you have never heard of but I love it and I think a lot of people would have more respect for the genre if they gave it a chance. I guess that wont happen but looking at the last 10 years it doesnt seem like its going to go away so get used to it hehehe

SOME pop isn't too bad. But I agree with you about the other music.

I hate any music that deals with love (ie: I can't breath when you're not around... give me a break (exaggerated)). Any music that repetes the same thing over and over again I also hate (ie: Disco, only one lyric).
