Well, couldn't get on site for a day or so, no idea why, maybe messed up browser, but I found THIS little time waster. Make sure you have your sound turned up up up, enjoy!
 Then there was this blurb I ran into, sortta news but I found it more like entertainment because its, um, really kind of DUMB what some people will do when they're bored a school.  To top off my evening I sat back and enjoyed a little flash parody,Kirby's Dreamland , which hit my demented funnybone. This I thought was interesting but for the life of me I can't figure out what the ultimate purpose is, keep the stick men alive???? Simple but kinda cool> http://www.razoric.com/games/Hell-of-Sand-Falling-Sand-Game

serges, hate being newbie, but i've tried all day(in between doing other things--probably distractions keeping me from concentrating), but how do i check my sound thing to make sure it's on, and the volume is on high. sorry moderators, hope this is appropriate..to reply here) wynette this is stupid, i need to figure this out for myself. if mods chastise me for this i'll understand. wynette

OOOOkay dokey, no probs wynette, first do you even have speakers (oh do say yes I assume you do) and is there a button on them for volume, if so, turn it up. 2> now, on the bottom of your screen you might find a little teeny speaker, if there is one there you can a) left click on it and that should bring up a sliderbar to raise and lower the sound, or
 right click it and that should give you your main sound panel where you should have an equalizer sort of mixing board sort of like a stereo, from there you can adjust the volume as well as amount of bass/mid/treble. If there is no speaker icon there on the bottom of your screen you will have to go to (don't know if this is exactly the same for XP) My Computer (double L click usually to open), you will see Control Panel (double L click to open) and in the window that opens you should be able to find a little bity speaker icon, or maybe in some cases something that says 'sound', revert to suggestion 'a' and go from there.Good luck in figuring it out, if ya gets stuck just let us know in the appropriate forum (in this case it'd be hardware) and someone is bound to come up with an answer or two for you. Cheers  quick edit>if you have a cd in your PC or laptop, which I'm sure you do, try putting in a music CD and playing from there to test your sound. When you do this it should automatically bring up whatever media player you have installed and then you just treat it like a stereo (push > for play etc).
