High school has struck again, and my math teacher is requesting a report about mathematicians. Well i figure if I use this definition:
Mathematicians not only study, but also research, and this must be given prominent mention here, because a misconception that everything in mathematics is already known is widespread among persons not learned in that field. In fact, the publication of new discoveries in mathematics continues at an immense rate in hundreds of scientific journals, many of them devoted to mathematics and many devoted to subjects to which mathematics is applied (such as theoretical computer science, physics or quantum mechanics). Then I should be able to get away with doing either John Draper (Captain Crunch) or Kevin Mitnick (Condor), since they both opened a world of "theoretical computer science". Question Posed...who should I pick. I'm going to have to sort through a ton of false info for both, but I can't decide who would be more interesting (and maybe baffling) to my stupid math class. -------------------- All things may corrupt when minds are prone to evil. - Ovid

i seem to be able to find more info on kevin than teh captain, so i'm not sure quite what i'm doing yet. it all depends if i can actually turn the hacking part into a math report.
